Raleigh NC Fire Departments

I am looking into moving near the Raleigh area and I am interested in RFD and surrounding fire departments. If anyone is either on RFD or any other department around there, please give me some information and feedback on the departments. Thanks.

Well really I am just trying to figure out where I want to go. I want to go to the best and this next place I go to is where I plan on retiring. I am planning on moving to the Raleigh area so any places around there.

Well the city of Raleigh is an excellent fire dept the rest of the wake county depts. are smaller depts that would be better in my opinion as a second part time firefighting job. The City of Durham is also another great dept to work at. I know people at both and they are all very happy where they work. and you will see a lot of action in either one of those cities
