preplanning

Hi,
I'm a Belgian Firefighter officer and whants to optimize our preplan. So I'm searching for templates en 'good practices: how to make a preplan'.

How do you do that at your fire department, or do you have links where I can find that.

I have the NFPA 1620 edition from 1998. Is that the latest?

Bert,
I'm not sure what the intent was for that particluar department was for that page. You may want to contact that dept. However, you could use that to have a drawing of a bldg. with highlighted areas of concerns or you may want to place pictures of the bldg.

I am a bit biased, but we use BLAZEMARK, www.getblazemark.com Internet-based, so no need to have to run from station to station with disks or flash drives. As soon as information is updated, everyone has the latest info. Since it is web-based, any web-based resource, including traffic and webcams can be embedded right in the preplan.

NFPA 1620 is now a standard as of 2010
