EVOC

Hi there to all,

I'm Franco from Gozo, in the Mediteranean. I am the operations officer with the local Red Cross.
What I would like to know is if someone would be able to help me form an EVOC. Over here we do not have a formal driving test for our ambulances.
I am in the process of designing the written part but am stuck with regards to the practical side. I have seen a few clips on youtube. If someone could please send me an outline of how to set it up, it would be greatly appreciated.

Our emergency vehicle training is based on the Hendon System - the one developed by the Police Academy in Hendon, London. They might be worth contacting. The London Ambulance Service, like yourselves, would be used to doing a lot of work in small tight streets, probably with similar sized ambulances - perhaps approach them as well?
