But when is it too much? I have been on runs where the patient is DOA and we still transported just pumping drugs into the patient (it was an OD and we used the standard doses ad standard intervals etc etc.... standard textbook work)

These guys acted like they were God... This is not our right to judge whether someone lives or dies. It is inappropriate to judge anything by the way someone's residence looks like, what they look like or anything for that matter. Sometimes, things are not always the way they appear.

We should always try to save a life whenever possible. If you don't have this mindset and professional ethic than you have absolutely no business being in this profession.

It happens though. Sometimes out of laziness, sometimes b/c the medics think the patient would be better off. Either way , its not up to us.
I agree with Michael on this one every one has a chance to live disabledm or not.
