NFPA Standard for mounting brackets

I am trying to find the requirements for mounting brackets outside of a compartment. We have mounted some handtools outside the cab and i want to make sure they are safe and within the NFPA Standards

I believe that the new standard for mounting brackets is NFPA 1901-03
