Without going through all 357+ members on here and having to open up their profile to see where they are, etc., let's just have a PAR.

FF Rob Lunsford
Jefferson Township Fire Department (Suburb of Dayton, Ohio)
27 Sq. Miles (only have hydrants in 4 Sq. Miles)
Station 59 (2 Engines, 1 Tanker, and 1 Medic)
No truck, but got 2 pikes, a NY Roof Hook, a Drywall Hook, Closet Hook, and the only true PPV fan in the twonship on one engine and the only 35' ladder in the township on the other engine along with 2 pikes, Plaster Hook, and a closet hook. Yes we do the truck work unless we need to put a stick in the air then we call our neighbors.
Been at this dept. a little over 5 years (been back for 2 months).
Formerly at Kettering Fire Dept. riding Engine 34 and still on the roster at Phillipsburg Fire Department riding or driving Medic, Engine, Tanker, and Rescue.
I think it's interesting that in the 2.5 months from 10/19/08 when I posted this PAR to 1/3, we have increased the numbers in here from 357 to 904. I have also found it interesting that we have truckies (and people who are just interested in the truckie way of life) from all over the globe on here. I saw a member from Mexico on here and went to go practice my Espanol on the Mexican Bomberos site (but realized my Spanish isn't THAT good) as well as from other places.
The fire service is really a legitimate brotherhood; what other professions other than police and the military can you go somewhere with your "colors" on and someone asks you if you are on the job somewhere and you are then immediately one of them? My brother was in Ireland and one of the brothers there literally gave him the shirt off of his back. I had the same thing happen to me on a visit to Cancun (thanks Capitan Miguel).
Happy New Year and spread the word. This is the place to be. Feel free to post and say your thing.
