Whats the best way to get new members for a Volunteer Fire Dept.

To get people in our dept .. All you have to say B 1.. And bingo... ..

Well sort of in order to continue funding our dept we do bingo every Sat night, 4 times a month takes decication.. So being a member or thinking it's nice to wear the jacket around so people can see it and think you are cool.. Yea got to be willing to work functions.. So up front with what we have to do... Alot of people are willing to still be part of it ,but you do get people for that fancy jacket...

let them know that even if they cant do really hard stuff they are always needed..there is always small jobs they can do...like fill air tanks help role hose..ect...tell them about all the fun they could have too not just the hard work..
