Yep yep..we were lucky this last year we got a big grant plus were getting a big chunck of the SPLOST money this year.

lucky you!! actually we were able to get a lot of stuff this year. new turn out gear, scba gear and training materials. i am thankful for all that, lord knows that old scba was anciet and out dated. got some pretty good stuff now viking isi packs. they have a lumbar support and heads up display in the mask. we have had some trouble with them though. perhaps i should start a discussion on that topic, see if any one else has had any trouble.

Were getting fitted for our new gear in november. We got MSA packs the tanks are 4,500 lbs of pressure and are carbon fiber, lunbar support, heads up display and voice amp. Were also going to referb T72 finish up B7 and get a new engine witch will be E74.

You dont , just keep in mind that the chiefs are more important ,sometimes the rest of the chain of command is too. We put our #s on helments ,but that can be confusing someone might grab the wrong one . LOL
