Hi my name is Frank Zaremba, I am a design student at the Cleveland institute of art. I am currently working on my thesis, which involves some of your day-to-day experiences. I am focusing on individuals that go into emotional shock after a severe or traumatic incident, or otherwise known as Acute Stress Reaction. Because of your line of work, you must help these individuals through this terrifying state.

I am trying to develop a product that would help the healing and coping process accelerate. So the Traumatic experience does not scar the individual for life, which could easily progress into harsher stages of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

It would be much appreciative if you could explain what steps you must go through, once arriving on the seen, in order to help these individuals out.

And if there is something you think or know will help you out with these experiences please provide them. If possible could you as well give responses in how you would deal with children as well as adults. I know sometimes the use of teddy bears for children helps and blankets for adults.

Thank you so much for your time and effort. I look forward to your responses and will keep you posted on the progress of the project.

Thank you for your time, Frank Zaremba
any feedback is appreciative

I know first thing is to get them away from the victum, its not normal for people to see other people in the conditions that we do, So first get them away from the scene, I like to work on deep breathing methods and try to get some of there family members there as soon as I can, because there always seen to be one family member that can keep conrtol over anyone else, other than that, we turn them over to our local law or our crisis unit.
A local pastor helps. We have several women on our department and they seem to be able to talk to people better then the rest of us.
