Happy New Year's

Most all of you know already, if you have read my posts, but I am a Pastoral Associate for a Catholic Parish here in Detroit. Basically that means, I do anything to make the pastor's job easier in the running of the parish.
The pastor is a Reserve Officer/Chaplain for the PD and it was becasue of this that moved me towards Fire Service.
But, today, Jan. 1st, is a Holy Day, and the Masses, were said for the Intentions of a Safe 2008 for all Police and Fire People and their families.
So I wish everyone here and their families a safe New Year.
