We have our first one on order, actually it will be the first rear-mount in our County. It took two years of planning and a lot of consideration before we went rear-mount. We needed a truck that could operate as a pumper and carry enough equipment to operate as a Rescue truck too. We like the amount of storage space that is available with a rear-mount. Our pump operator will stand at the left rear corner of the truck. That way they can pull past the structure and be able to see what is going on. All our intakes and discharges will be away from the operator making it safer to operate. With the exception of the two hose lays off the rear all our attack lines are mounted waist level for ease of reloading. No more climbing up to reload the cross lays! The truck will have a HME chassis, 400HP, 1500gpm Waterous pump, 1000 gal tank with 30 gal foam, 10kw generator, Command Light light tower, Foam Pro 2001 foam system, and a combination halogen LED light package. The truck was due in Sept 07 and is late. Due to our harsh winters we are now negotiating for a spring delivery.

We just recieved our two trucks and most everyone is disappointed. The light package is trash and the side mirriors broke when they tried to adjust them. Captain seat is way to far forward they have 6 inches behind it and the driver can't see out that side with a passenger. The rear compartment door is already scratched up three scratches vertically in the lettering. The light bar is only 44 inches on a custom cab and it has 8 LED s 4 facing the raised cab.The other side LEDS are basic flashers and are on one controller. I hope you have better luck
