Shut Down
HWC had an ambo out on the road for two weeks smelling of urine & feces. Come to fine out in the back of the unit there was a bed pan in a CABINET with this left in it. For two weeks they transported patients with this smell and they had nerve to get mad when the tech who found it for the day! MIEMS needs to shut them down!

I agree. That is nasty and a health hazard. Don't they check their trucks from back to front at the start of every shift? Everyone that has ridden in that truck since the incident started needs to be punished. Including the tech that started this mess. I don't care if a crew just got off the truck, check the truck out. They could be lying to cover their own a**.

Whatever happened to checking the ambulance at the beginning of every shift? Also you would think that once they started to smell something like urine and sh*t, they would have searched the ambulance to find the source of the smell! I'm no genius, but even I could have figured that one out! I hope the governing autority for that ambulance company puts them all through some kind of remedial training, and keeps an eye on them for some time. Not to mention that whoever took a bed pan full of urine and feces and put it in a cabinet should be suspended if not terminated!
