I'm from Brogden Volunteer FD near Smithfield, NC I've been with the department for onl 2 short months, but hope to stay for a long time.

From Texas but used to live in NC and WANT to get back. Was at Wildwood and several other depts at the same time. Left North Topsail Beach FD as a Deputy Chief and am looking for a job in Carteret county area.

HI Crum,

Been doing this for too many years to quit now. Retired from Concord Fire in 2000 due to OTJ Injury. 15 years there Captain and was told I had became a liability instead of an asset. Was at Mt. Mitchell in Cabarrus County from 1975 until May of 2007. Currently B/C in Rowan County Department of East Spencer. Take care of safety and training now. Can't fight fire anymore, but still hang in there with soemthing to do. Been to many of the departments that are here and know some of thses guys. Oldest son works at Mooresville full time at station 4 and at East Spencer and youngest son workes at East Spencer P/T. For some reason or another I gat called Sr, and the oldest son gets called Jr. We look a lot alike but don't have the same name. Only the first and last names are the same. But it doesn't matter. Just as long as we all go and we all come back together.
