I'm writing to see if anyone else has gotten the Thorogood hellfire leather 14" structural HV fire boots?
Wanted to know if anyone experienced the samething I did.
Ok I got my size of 10 1/2 wide and i went to try them on and I couldn't get my foot passed the choke point of the boot (Shine/ankle area) i forced it on and it fit good but i needed help pulling them off.
I don't know if it was made wrong with a mix of the mens and womens.
Just throwing this out there to see if anyone had this problem.
Never did I have trouble before with all boot brands including these.
Thank you.
I have a pair of Thorogood (women's) 8" Stealth Side Zip, and I love them! I loosen the laces down to the ankle and I have no problems. I hope this helped.
We were issue Thorogoods this past year, and to this point have had no major complaints...Did have to size a bit different than normal but not a big issue...Hey Cat....side zips boots are not structural firefighting boots....would get rather hot I think in a structure fire.......Stay safe and always keep the faith............Paul
Like I said I never had any problems with any brand make boots this includes thorogoods.
I just figure might have been something of a glitch because they are fairly new.
So Paul you had to size different Why? The boots today are suppose to be shoe fit (true fit) Not like back in the day when i first joined and you had to up size a number.
Cat yes the stealth boots are very nice i had a pair couple years ago at my other job.
Thanks for Info. Keep them coming in.
I found them to be a little narrow....and after the heat factor my feet actually swelled a little...so I went with a little wider boot....Worked for me......Paul
Yeah thats what they are 10 1/2 wide so maybe i should go with 11?
My normal work boot is 10 1/2 and my sneakers are a 10.
When they were ordered they said give your work boot size.
