September 13, 2009. VBFD rescue of a bicyclist that wrecked his bike on the Pungo Ferry Bridge causing him to go over the side falling into the marsh. This bridge crosses the intercostal waterway.

Shareef, I concur, but personally I'm not one to pass on VA Beach. I hear of their accolades quite often.

Many times, when we speak of highly skilled rescue companies we talk about FDNY, LAFD, or any of the other high profile FD's. But all to often, we forget about Va Beach and some of the other more obscure area's of this country. This crew and that FD deserve alot of credit for a job well done.
