In the early evening hours of July 27, 2010 the Burbank, California Fire Department responded to several calls reporting a structure fire in a business at San Fernando and Santa Anita in the downtown area. First-in units reported a heavy smoke condition which quickly self-ventilated through the roof, erupting into a fully involved structure. The incident quickly grew into a second alarm response which included assets from the neighboring city of Glendale. Three tower laddres were in operation as well as multiple deck guns and hand lines. An interior attack was ruled out due to the heavy volume of fire and report of flammable metals inside. For still images from this incident visit http://www.firegroundaction.com.
