Love ya like a Brother Chief, but why are you teaching your Firefighters that experienced officers stand in the upper thermal layers while firefighters crawl in? From my experience this sends conflicting messages, let's teach them to recognize the hot thermal layers, stay below it and stay low with your crew to lessen skin damaging errors in their future. This becomes especially important with our modern furnishings and finishes liberating heat more quickly than before (in real life). Be safe, train like you play.
