Postville (IA) Bakery Fire
October 20, 2009. Fire crews for more than nine departments were called to the scene of a fire on Lawler Street in Postville. An apartment fire above the Postville Bakery spread through on the building, destroying the bakery and damaging nearby buildings.
At about 8:30 Saturday morning crews received to Lawler Street in Postville. The Postville bakery and restaurant was on fire. More then nine different fire departments battled the blaze well into the afternoon.
