What the hell is going on here? This is a bread and butter fire. Exposures are far enough away that they are not an immediate threat. One man on a small line, on air with smoke clearly doing what it should... go up. And why is his hood OUTSIDE OF HIS COAT? Is it me, or are these lines like wet spaghetti noodles? One big line, no air (Because your not going in... I hope) and with all of the Mutual Aid coming, where is everyone? Get the 2.5" on the #4 (D) side, sit down, get off of air and start a cigar, or put the deck gun in op's and make a big splash if you're that low on man power. Improvise, adapt and overcome! You'll have 3 areas covered and don't move the line, increase the pressure to hit the back. AND GET THE HELL AWAY FROM THE STRUCTURE!!! Does collapse ring a bell? This house is a standard 30X60, this should be a walk in the park. Let the 2nd engine cover exposures. And wear your PPE PROPERLY!

What ever happened to using a big line? If we want to confine, and control fire, especially this much fire, leave the line meant for compartment-sized (interior rooms) fires on the pumper, and stretch the 2.5" Obviously this small line didn't do much. Regardless of tank water or continous supply, your just wasting water because it's ineffective. AND, ...look, the buildings lost, it's gone, nothing, or no one to save. DON'T get right up and personal with a fire like this! There is NOTHING to be gained. It's NOT an offensive firefight, kick back, let the stream reach do the job, and save your selves for the job in which you CAN make a difference! EVEN the second line pulled is a small line, with little effect!

good job push the fire towards exposures. waste of time and water walking back and forth to both sides.
