Units responded to a large unoccupied 4 story condo complex. Fire spread very rapidly causing a complete collapse of the building. Fire extended to 3 story condo units across the street causing major damage and collapse as well. Numerous parked cars were burned to the shell. There was radiant heat damage to many other buildings. From what I saw Mutual Aid units responded from Keyport, Union Beach, Hazlet, Middletown, Port Monmouth. Many other towns assisted as well. There was a large EMS response too. A Pipeline was established with drafting operations to bring adequate water to the scene. This relay was several blocks long. Crews did any excellent job on evacuating homes and protecting exposures from additional fire spread.
