that is one of the saddest things i have ever watched, it is sad to be losing fellow firemen that have worked to protect the people of their district like this. hopefully what every reasons can be solved and they can reopen the fire department again. i would also like to thank them for the years of service that they gave. from a fellow fireman thanks again : capt 4603 s.o.f.p.d. missouri

Wow as i sit here after just watching this video, it takes everything I have to not break down and shed a tear for this fire department and all it's members. Very sad it had to happen, and it's true what their chief said "noting more then a scheduled execution"

p.s. are they leaving all their trucks in quarters in hopes that they will one day be open again or are they gonna move all their apparatus else where?

How that pain must feel for our brothers and sisters just hearing this makes my heart break. This is tragically how most departments in our country face budget and financial problems every day. I pray that this department will open its door again one day.
