Hobart (IN) Apartment Fire
Crews were dispatched via a third party call for a reported structure fire, Quint 3 being 1st on scene advised of heavy fire showing from a 2nd floor apartment and fire through the roof. Command quickly determined additional EMS and fire personnel were needed. EMS from Lake Station, Portage, and Gary were requested along with Lake Station FD. Multiple injuries were reported, but they were all non-life threatening. Investigators were on scene working.
