FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A Fort Wayne firefighter has been placed on medical leave after he became involved in a shoving match with another firefighter at the scene of a fire at the Willows of Coventry Apartments. NewsChannel 15 camera caught the incident on tape. Fire Chief Pete Kelly told NewsChannel 15 that the firefighter's actions can be linked to stress. The firefighter does not face any disciplinary action.

Highlights the issue of SCRUTINY.

We're exposed to it in everything we do and we wouldn't even know- we need to be careful of our actions, no matter where we are or what we're doing...

You got that right Dan the meadia only reports what they seenot the story behind it feel bad for the guy for this to be on tv.it gives the department a bad rep

The worst part about this is something probably went bad on the inside, like a stupid move by his partner that put them both at risk. I've been there before, BUT the media makes it look like he is just a big tough guy trying to make a point. They have no idea what actually happend they just showed the aftermath.
