Fire Destroys Detroit Apartment Building
MidWest News - Just after 5:00pm on January 15th Firefighters from Detroit's 5th Battalion responded to the report of a house fire at 5502 Martin Street on Detroit's Southwest side.
When the first engine companies arrived on the scene, they were greeted by heavy smoke, fire and non functional hydrants. The fire was so intense that Firefighters were concerned about the blaze spreading to the house next door. Luckily no other buildings were damaged and no injuries have been reported so far.
