MABAS21 - Lake Station crews were dispatched to a reported house fire in the 2200 block of Wayne on 12-10-11. A family friend had already made entry to the house prior to FD and PD's arrival. Crews quickly removed a one year old from a back bedroom and preformed cpr saving the child's life. After some time a second victim was reported missing so an aggressive search was preformed and a three year old was found. Both kids are in stable condition and recovering at a Chicago hospital, unfortunately the mother was found just five feet from the front door by FD members.
