Close Call Video: Wall Collapses on San Francisco Firefighter

In this close call video, at about the 1:18 mark, the wall collapses on top of a firefighter. He walked away with a broken leg and other non life-threatening injuries, extremely lucky.

I'm not very experienced, coming up on five years in this year, but I thought it didn't look right. Hot fire pushing left of the frame with crews putting cold water on the outside of the same wall to the right. Imagine what that wall must have been doing, hot on one side, cold on the other, all brick construction...

That could have been so much worse than it was.

I do not mean to sound heartless, but we must look at this as with many other close calls and re-assess hhow we operate. In the BIG PICTURE, we must ALL get home alive to our familes. Review with you membership and use as valuable drill material
