KATRINA FIREFIGHTERS IN NEW ORLEANS
In the wake of Katrina, a small fire started when the power was restored to an unoccupied mansion in Audubon Place. Firefighters were initially kept off the property by armed members of the Mossad, the Israeli Police, who had been contracted to protect the stately homes. By the time firefighters got to the house it was fully involved, and was a complete loss. ©2005 Phinizy Percy Jr
