About Me:

I have been involved in EMS since 1989, and fire service since 1995. I am currently paramedic captain on "C" shift of the South Bend Fire Dept. I received my Associates of Science degree in Paramedic Science in 2006.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

The town I was living in was about to lose it's volunteer EMS service for lack of volunteers. My wife at the time took the basic EMT class offered free of charge by a private EMS service and one of the local hospitals. While helping her study for the class, I became interested in EMS and took the next class offered.
