Why I Joined Fire/EMS: What can i say dad did it, i followed then my brother followed when he got old enough i guess insanity runs in the family. Little brother actually has joined the same house as me.

Why I Love Fire/EMS: the part where you help your nieghbours, and the feeling of having a second family at the station

Top Issues Facing Responders:: I can't speak for ems , but on the volunteer firefighting side, the biggest issues are lack of young people interested in joining the dept. , and general lack of funds for decent equipment, but other than that who can complain.

hi all , fist time blogger, just had the greatest thing happen today, went and cashed the smallest monthly pay i have ever had since i started on the dept. i hope things stay this calm for another month or two, but we all know that never happens.
