Ive been on the fire department for 5 years now and was a memeber of the rescue squad for 2 but just recently quit after a couple bad calls that were close together.. But do have every intention of rejoyning

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Just wanted to do sumthing to help out in my community and have always wanted to be involved in firefighting.. Plus who can resist a good hot fire

The excitement the adrenaline and the extreme brotherhood of it.. and also the sincere thank you's you get from complete strangers

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Well any of u in the volunteer service know that manpower is a huge issue especially during the daytime.. and another issue is all the different chemicals that end up in these houses for drug making and also for home based businesses
