I have been in the fire service for 11 years. I currently am Chief of Vienna twp. , Firefighter on Finley Twp. , and Honorary member of Jennings Twp.

Day Job:

Mechanic/ Electrician at local warehouse.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Our Department was formed because the Township did not have a fire department in 1969.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

saving the lives, And helping people in their time of need

Top Issues Facing Responders:

The only Issue in the Fire Service today is there is not enough funding for Firefighters to get the training and the equipment they need. That is every firefighter and chief's problem I have ever talked to. Fema does not work look at Katrina. Nims is just their scape goat when something goes wrong. So they can say that why everthing went wrong was because the local emergency responders did not do what we planned, when everyone knows no emergency is the same.
