Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Because my dad is a fire fighter/first responder and I see how good he feels after helping someone in need and I love that feeling to... just going home after a call knowing thats another person I have helped makes me feel like a great person.

In rural areas, sometimes they are few and far between. One can wonder why they have to take so much training when they don't have any calls.
