Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I joined at home because i knew alot of ppl there and spent alot of my youth hanging around the firehouse. I joined the Bloomsburg Fire Dept. because i go to college in the town, and it made school feel more like home. I am also a driver for my towns ems station. I got into doing that because I knew alot of people who did it, and it helped me get to know others.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Firefighting gives you excitement, a rush, the thrill. In EMS your always needed, when people are scared you are calm. Its a good feeling helping a complete stranger.
