I am certified as a Tech in Rope Rescue, Swift Water, Swift Water Boat Operator, and Confined Space. I am also Haz Mat Awareness and Operations.
In Sept. 2009 I became the first female engineer in the department. I am currently going to school to to earn my BA with my minor in Fire Administration

About Me:

I joke that I saw Towering Inferno as a kid and thought cool I want to do that when I grow up. But it was more than that I listened to stories from my dad and grandpa and thought cool I want to do that when I grow up. I wish my dad could have lived to see me do this but that wasn't to be.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I am a forth generation fire fighter. Do I really need to say more? I love what I do and doing what I always wanted to do.
