About Me:: Been chief of dept. since 05. Came up through the ranks. From ff to capt. to assist. chief to chief. Most important thing to me is the safety of our people. Everyone goes home.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Used to go to fires before joining. Figured might as well join and get training so could help out.

Top Issues Facing Responders:: Safety and staffing. Trying to recruit new members to become paid per call ff's on the dept. Takes alot of time and training to become a ff and finding someone willing to dedicate their time to become a ff on a small dept. is getting harder all the time.
