PA Volunteer Firefighter/Fire Police/EMT - Call Your House Representative TODAY!

It is imperative that all Pennsylvania volunteer firefighters, fire police officers, and emergency medical technicians call and email their state representative to encourage them to support and quickly pass four pieces of legislation that are in the process of being sent to the PA House of Representatives. These bills will give state and local income tax credits to all active volunteers!

Not the kind of duty you want to have...

Been busy, but I wanted to post this. There are many duties that a fire police officer has to perform, but funeral duty is not one of the best, especially for the passing of a brother or sister in the fire service.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
After I retired (early at 51), I finally got the time to volunteer with my local fire company (West Whiteland, Station 6), as a fire police officer and as Fire Police Lieutenant.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
giving something back to the community with a great bunch of people!
Top Issues Facing Responders:
the recruitment and retention of volunteers! We need to get more involved and keep them active!
