Things here are going well. My son graduated from High School, I have been to 2 out of 3 weddings, the remodel is on hold, and I have begun the last of 5 classes for my Master's degree. I have purchased a ticket and will be in British Columbia July 30th through August 13th riding for the Canadian Bible Society and Bike for Bibles. The training is going OK. I have to determine a way to get from Sea-Tac Airport to the Port Angeles Ferry to Victoria with a bike and a suitcase. Then from Port… Continue

First entry, I hope to keep everyone posted about what is happening with me. Several big events in the near (next 10 m0nths) future. My son graduates from High School in May, then enters college in July or August. I will be training for a 650 mile/9 day bicycle ride (this is tough for someone old and overweight).I have 3 weddings of family members to attend, classes towards my Masters, home remodel/repair, and 30,000 other things (like every other fireman I know). Thanks JR. Sounds like some good sound advise, and I guess things that I already know but then to forget sometimes. It good to have it reinstated back to me. I know Paul and I am a member of the Tenn. Federation of Fire Chaplains. Again, I forget about the support that I could receive from that. I just get frustrated sometimes not knowing when to respond and find out situations where I should have been called and was not. But it will all work out. I know that Jesus faced larger obstacles than that! Thanks again, Ted..............

I see where you also serve as Chaplain. I am Chaplain for our county, but this is a new position for our county and I find many obstacles in finding my place in being effective and being utilized. Have any suggestions?
