Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I thought it would be fun to drive an ambulance, Then I took the tour and climmed up into the engin only to be entranced by the smell of exitment and thrill of danger........signed up for accadamy the same day.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

Knowing when I lay my head on my pillow every night that I made a diferance in someones life.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Public awarness. I do'nt think the people are aware of how much money goes into every call. They seem to think the departments run on air.
