About Me:

Former Health Inspector who, after speaking to a friend became interested. I went out on my own and got certified as an EMT-B and went on several ride alongs with departments in California. Decided that this was what I wanted to do.

After spending 1 year with the City of Beaufort Fire/Rescue, I moved to Charleston Fire Department. Currently stationed on Ladder 1 at Station 18 on Daniel Island.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I was a Health Inspector for 4 years and learned more about the fire service from a good friend who is working on being a Firefighter in Chicago. It peaked my interest so I work on my EMT and did a few ride alongs. The rest is history. This is the job for me.
