About Me:: I am 24 years old. I played college baseball and really didn't know where my life was going. I was given the opportunity to test for the county fire department, and I passed. I entered recruit school not knowing what to expect, seeing as I had never even thought about the fire department before. I went through my 13 week boot camp and I would not trade my job for any other one in the world. i love what I do for a living.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I joined the Fire Department because I wanted to feel like I was doing my part for the community that I lived in. Now that I have been here for a little while, I can see that it is truly more than just what we do for the community, it's what we do for everyone.

Why I Love Fire/EMS: I love the people, and being able to get out and try new things. There is always an adventure.
