Why I Joined Fire/EMS
My father was an EMT years ago when I was a kid. My cousin and her husband joined the rescue squad and I decided to join a year later. I enjoy helping people when they need it most.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I love the feeling I get knowing I made a difference in someones life.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
The need for volunteers. Being a volunteer mostly means you have another job. It's hard for many in my department to respond during the day because of work.
