Thanks so how bad was it like up there when you guys had the level one snow emergency? I know they said it would be really bad down here but it never happened the worst that night was probably mutal aid for a structure fire we pulled for another county
Hi John this is Tim from Delphos, Ohio good luck in medic school. I have a son that just got hierd on praire twp in Columbus, he got hierd as part time for now then when a full time opens he will have a full time ff job. He is a ff medic also part time with thursten twp around Buckey Lake Ohio and he runs with critical care ambulance co in Columbus. I am a ff emt with Delphos I been on 26 yrs ems and 21 as a vol ff. My son was a full time ff medic with us then he got married then moved to Westerville Ohio. I like being a vol ff emt I will probley do it until I die . Well see ya later be safe tc bye for now.
Thanks John for the H_day.. Please let me know how things are going for you and you medic stuff..... I am one of words and never feel to say something I don't feel is true and John jstreading your stuff and getting a feel for you .. You are a good medic I can tell... So keep pushing towards it.. I know you can do it...
John, I'm sorry to hear about your bad call the othernight. I go through the same thing and always wonder if I could have dispatched some one sooner if they wuld be okay or maybe if they would have gotten there sooner, etc. I think we all go thru this and it's a very rough thing to go through.
I really don't know what else to say except i'm sorry and I know what your going thru.
I absolutely love being a dispatcher. Especially for the fire dept. Everyone says I am nuts to be out there and doing the stuff I do because it's all volunteer for the Fire Dept. When I get patted on the back by the BLM and DNRC and our other guys, and county guys, that is enough thanks for me. I don't need to be paid to take care of my guys. I have my guys totally spoiled, and they know it, but, there isn't a thing I wouldn't do for any of these guys and gals or my guys and gals.
I've been there going on 9 years and I love every minute of it.
