I think the new site certainly has broad appeal. Rollwithit.com was obviously designed to attract the 18-25 target demographic, which, by the way, is still the backbone of EMS and fire services.
I'm headed to a statewide meeting on recruitment and retention today. I'll add the site to my list of resources and best practices.

I ran across one of the audio clips you added. Any chance I can talk you into sending me the Emergency 51 (Structure Fire) clip. I've been hunting for those for awhile with no luck.
Hey Pete,
Could you tell me where you found the logo (maltese and star of life) I'm looking for a similar logo to use for our new Department Logo.
Thanks Alot

My apologies if I did not respond to you. FDSOA is definitely worth it. It will soon be mandatory to have a ProBoard certified Safety Officer on each dept. So if you have any q's email me at ed.nied@tucsonaz.gov
It gets interesting but for the most part I let my divisions run themselves, and I step in when needed. Look foward to talking more soon. Be carefull and stay safe.

I will do that and you do the same.We all need to let go once and a while.Stay safe pete.
Thanks for asking! It was a little cold but, we had a great time. We didn't go to the Empire State Build. The Trade Center Complex Tour was unbelieveable! The subay ride was also, something else. The fire co. that hosted the trip is planning another one in the spring, So I'll more than likely do it again.

I am assuming 'them' refers to 'stories about department 1 ambulances blowing up' and not my blog posts! :)
All I can say is that if it was gonna happen, I'm glad it happened then and not in the midst of a trauma transport.
