I have been away for a while also. Changed internet service. So far things are pretty quiet here. Just your usual calls. We will probably be busy with the holiday weekend comming up. I hope to be at the beach for the weekend. stay safe and keep in touch.
If you are down this way let me know. The next time you talk to Frank tell him Jodi from Dr. Armstrongs office said hello. I havent seen him in awhile but his pet was a client of ours before the dr. retired. He has been cimming in there for years, his son Eddie was a client also. Talk to you later.
Yeah, I get down that way every once in a while. Not like I used to. Got a real good friend down there named Frank Poindexter. He is a great friend and musician as well. He and I and my son get totgether and jam a little bit. Just been so busy lately that I haven't been able to get anywhere much. Yeah I had my FF III when it first came out. Ages ago. Been doing this now for 33 years. Too long to quit, and too hard headed not to. Tell Marshal I said hello. I think a lot of him. He and I worked together at Concord. See ya later. He used to love my cold slaw and potato salad. You tell him that and he will know who you are talking about.
Yes I do know Marshal real well. I grew up in fire dept. with him. My dad was asst. fire marshal for our county for years until he retired and then he went to work for the city of monroe for several more years, so our whole family has been in firefighting that is what my 18 year old son wants to do for a living. He is in fire certi. classes now. When I got cert. it was still ff3. Do you ever get to union Co?
Hi! You left me a comment last month and I have been so slack about getting on here lately!! Sorry. Very cool pic of you and the boys. My son can't wait to start 8th grade so he can join the explorers program. Maybe it will give him some incentive to do well in school LOL Have a great day!! Christy
Sorry..got wrapped up finishing a piece for a writing contest. The test went great, I passed. Have no idea what my actual score is yet, but, I got the important piece of paper.
Thanks for the support and asking!!!!!
Thanks for the well wishes, should know by 1000 hours tomorrow morning if I've passed. The state has gone a long way from the old testing though. They actually are getting away from the tests that only work your ability to take a test. Now they include questions that actually pertain to what a fire officer must know. Slow, but steady progress...

Check out the some of the Groups, I have started up "Close Calls" an area to tell your story of what you did and should not of so others learn. "Roll Calls" this is another group that allows you to tell us about your station and district. "Trainers Corner" is another area that you can read about issues other trainers have or deal with. As well if your not a trainer you can ask questions or state concerns you have. If you have a hard time locating them just go to my site and look at the bottom left hand corner.
