Thats cool you were in the Navy, thats where i had planned on going after High School but i was in a bad car accident and busted my Femur in 7 spots, so i could'nt go. Thats what turned me on to the fire dept, wanted to be apart of the fire dept that saved my life.
thanks for requesting to add me! I'm glad to see there are soooo many women doing this work! When I started as a Junior FF I was only the 2nd woman to ever be on that particular dept. And I am currently the only female FF / EMT on my dept ...we have another woman EMT but she isn't into the fire side of things...anyway, thanks again! Look forward to talking to you...stay safe!
