We will be in Emmitsburg in just a few weeks for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation Memorial Service to honor those lost in 2006. The Charleston 9 and all those that have left us this year will be in our prayers as well.

It's difficult for people who've never had a loss like that. The pain & the emptiness don't go away.
