How far north do you go for your comedy

Hello, as the founder of the 9/11 Patch Project (originally the National Firefighters 9/11 Memorial Patch) I have recently updated the website and released the 10 Year 9/11 Anniversary Patches. This project has run for over 7 years and involves 5000 fire, ems, police and military org's around the world. Would love to have each of your departments on board.

The project is about sharing common threads, a uniform memorial patch that we can all wear as a lasting tribute and raising funds.

Organizations that have benefited by monetary or merchandise donations in the past are:
- The UFA Widows and Children's Fund
- World Memorial
- Terry Farrell Scholarship Fund
- San Antonio Burned Out Survivors
- Esperanza Firefighters Fund

Please visit the website when you have a moment and consider supporting this successful worldwide effort. Funds will continue to be donated and raised to host a west coast 10 Year 9/11 Event called, "Nine11-Twenty11."

Also interested in other items you might want to see with either of the designs on them (eg. window decals, ball caps, T-shirts, job shirts, military versions, etc.)

Billy, Your comedy skit is funny as hell brother!!

Hi Billy ! i am very pleased to meet you, let me introduce myself, i am Alessandra , in italy where i live i am a firefighter for 8 months a year i am not a volunteer i am paid,,, it's a very bad situation for italian firefighters like me. Let me say that for me you and your ny brothers are heroes, also before 9/11 ....
In December i am going to visit ny city for a week , so i was asking myself if there is a possibility to visit your firehouse?

We hope you'll spread the word to all of your NYC Metro area friends... Our 9/25 event is shaping up to be great. It will be held at Saloon from 7pm-11pm. Presale tickets are $5 for FD/EMS/Military and $15 for friends. All tickets include a free drink, live entertainment, etc. So round up some people and PM me to purchase your tickets. 100% of the money (how many fundraisers can say that???) goes to the FDNY VFW, Farrell Fund and Elsasser Fund. I´ll go with my family (my father is a firefighter too) mom, dad and sister, I want know where we could stay a couple days. A god place and cheap. Also, the most important a place closely a your firehouse.

Levittown NY, NY April 20th 2007 -- 7pm at Governor‘s Comedy Club, 6 Funny NYC Firefighters along with a professional comedian will take the stage for the 9th Annual NY's Bravest Night of Comedy to benefit the Thomas Elsasser Scholarship Fund for widows and children of FDNY members who die outside the line of duty.

The Thomas Elsasser scholarship fund is for widows and children of FDNY menbers who die non line of duty. When a firefighter makes the supreme sacrifice while working his family will be taken care of financially by the city. If a firefighters just passes away at home the pain and suffering are the same but the benefits are drastically reduced. Back in 1997 Firefighter James Halverson was jogging on the track at Centereach HS when a deranged teenager walked up to him and shot James in the chest. At the time of his death James Halverson had 2 years on the job and his wife Rosalie was pregnant with twins. This fund will assure that children like James & Rosalie Halverson's twin girls and many others like them will get a good education.
