Hey the single fire fighter group seems to only get a little traffic, so I am inviting the single people to come join extra fun with the new singles chat I started in the group - Chief's Back Room Crew - since it seems more people hang out in there on a daily basis - i wanted to give some more opportunities for us fun singles to visit with each other and gather up more of the wandering singles in this site. So if you are still legally single, come join us, and feel free to invite your other legally single friends and come join us too. Heather B
Hi Kasey!!
Thanks for thinking of me in the patch department. I wish I could wear jeans and a T-shirt to work too!! The Honour Guard is going very well, I am traveling to Vancouver, Canada at the end of the month for a two-day conference with Honour Guards from across Canada. I am excited about it!! It is a five hour flight and I have never been to Vancouver before.
My back is much better, thank you for asking. I am getting old though.....I turned 55 in March and am thinking of retirement within the next five years or so.
Remember to stay safe and keep smiling...you brighten up the room!!! Take care Kasey.
I am happy to know that you are well and still involved in Fire/EMS, as well as the Christian Life way store. Do you have a patch from the dispatch center you work for? I am still a patch freak!!!
Last year I started an Honour Guard here in Montreal and we are moving ahead slowly. At the end of April I will fly to Vancouver for a conference with 27 other Honour Guards from across Canada to discuss strategies and methods of running the guard. I am also much more into teaching CPR/AED and First Aid in schools, nursing courses, hospitals and other places. I think I will probably retire in about three years or so depending how things go. Other than that, life is great!! Stay safe and keep in touch!!!
It is good to hear from you. How are things going in your life? I do hope that all is well and you are enjoying every day!! Are you working in Fire/EMS? Thanks for sending me a message..it is wonderful to hear from you again!!! Please stay safe.....
Hey Kasey,
Glad to have you as a friend. I see you been hooked for 4 years now. I have been volunteering for a little less than a year but really like it. Its kinda slow in my community, which dont get me wrong, is a good thing. I love making calls though, and helping others. I see your a dispatch also, that has to be tough staying calm for everyone. Sounds like you got a new position, congrats. Good luck to ya and be careful out there. Hollar back if you want. Take care and God bless. AJ
Ha! I knew you would.......how could they pass you up? You must be proud of yourself Kasey. I am sure that the orientation will be a breeze for you. Let me know how it all goes!! Once again, congratulations....you rock girl!!!!
Hi Kasey,
Just stay focused on all the tests you are passing!!! You are sure to be hired. Your attitude is also #1!!! Stay safe Kasey...let me know what happens...please.
Well, if you really didn't have to work or anything then not getting paid wasn't so bad!!! Did you learn anything from it?
I am glad the polygraph is over, I am sure you passed with flying colors!!! Let me know when you hear anything.....stay safe and keep amiling Kasey!!
Kasey....relax! You are a natural for this job. Just be yourself and all will go well. They obviously can tell that you are cut out to do this type of work and the experience that you bring to the job is invaluable. You will ace the polygraph because as long as you tell the truth the machine does the rest! I hope that you enjoy the time you spend learnig the job and I know that you will be an asset to them!!! Go Girl!!!!!
Hey Kasey,
What's not to like? If they don't hire you, it's theri loss. I am sure that thigs will work out for the best. You were honest with them and that quality will shine through. As for all the tests you need to take once you are hired......I guess you cannot study for 'em huh?? Take care and you know that I'm pullin' for you!!! Let me know what happens either way would you?
It sounds like you really enjoy the station house...and that is great because these kind of people are the best kind if family anyone would ever want!
I am sure you will do well at the interview. Making eye contact shows that you are confident of yourself. Show them who you are and let them know that if they hire you, they will be getting someone very special!!!! Take care and say hello to everyone at the station house from me up here in Canada!!! Be safe!!
Frozen pizza and grocery store cake......that sounds real good!!! Yeah, our new station is beautiful but it is becoming more and more impersonal. There are a lot more paople there and you don't get the chance to talk as much as before. I like the sound of your station house more. People there are more of a family.........we don't have frozen pizza and grocery store cake but I sure wish we did.
Take care of your back Kasey, as you know we only have one of those and once it is injured.........you are done in this business. I am always worried about my back when we lift a heavy patient in a bad situation....ice, stairs, fire etc etc...
I am praying that you get this job...if I were there I would tell them there is no better candidate for the position!!! Best of luck to you.....GO GIRL!!!!! Be safe.
