Hey All...Just wanted to try something a little different...and yes, I may use the results for a paper that I am writting for a class. I would like to know your coverage area.....Square miles....# of blocks...however you descibe the area that you are responsible for in Fire/EMS coverage. I know this will vary greatly as does the number of calls responding to each year...For example....I am in a small rural Department 44 members...we average 1.4 calls per day over the course of the year.....our coverage area is 218 square miles....Thanks....stay safe...Keep the Faith...........adel

Hey, haven't been on here much lately, been a busy summer. How are you?
And these are my FAVORITE boots. I got them at Dicks Sporting Goods. They are "men's" however a simple sizing can determine what size a woman would need. These things never hurt my feet or pinch. And there wasn't any "break in" time either. They were comfortable from the first time I put them on. And they provide EXCELLENT ankle support while being flexible for bending. I have had mine for three years now so they are also long lasting. My only complaint is the laces seem short for a taller boot. However, they do zip on the sides which is nice for those times when you need them on NOW for a call.

Sorry it took so very long to get back with you. You had posted on my page many months ago about clothing issues that I to had encountered in this field. These are the ones that I've managed to find. The top link is my personal favorite because of the many pockets. However they do come close to the belly button. But if you want something lower the second link isn't bad.
