Heres to short girls! I know how you feel. just remember, we can fit in through a lot of holes in buildings and cars that the guys can't, even with airpacks on. I have been through more attic holes, and tiny windows than I can count. welcome and stay safe.

It is not that bad out here. There are a few things to do. Plus, we are not that fare from bigger towns. You will like it. I have been out here two years, and no way am I moving back up north. lol
Welcome to ffn. I see you were in Ft. leonard wood or better known as ft. lost in the woods. I spent a little time there myself. Hope you enjoyed it. Stay safe.
I came into the world early too and faced the same challenges you did re: life support, etc. But, 34 years later Im still alive and kicking like an Army mule. Glad to have you on the Nation and I wish you all the best in becoming a medic/LEO. Im currently testing to be a corrections officer/EMT and am going to be taking dispatcher training sometime this coming summer. And I dont want to be accused of being sexist or anything, but that smile should be listed as a deadly weapon. Once youre a LEO, if anybody gives you any S*&%, just flash them those pearly whites.
Im sure you will be excellent and whatever you do. Plus you have age on your side. I left the field of education at 32 to become an EMT and now I work with the Illinois Medical Emergency Response Team (IMERT), start FF training in March and am working on my master's in emergency management. Just goes to show you even us old goats (Im 34 now) can still get out there and run scenes with the best of 'em. Good luck and be in touch if there's anything I can do for ya. Remember: head up, helmet on and dont walk in front of the tail rotor ;)
